Pingtung in the News 屏東的新聞 (Central 中) 9

There are 29 townships, 3 municipalities and one city in Pingtung County.  It's exhausting to include news from every township, municipality and Pingtung City every time, so what I'll do instead is include news items from eleven different townships or municipalities in each entry.  This way I should be able to work my way through Pingtung County every three entries.

2. My opinion?  People in Taiwan need to calm down, and alongside that the general public needs to consider how it's affected by both news reports of this nature and the way they're spread via cellular technology and social media.  None of us are going to live forever.

3. Traffic can be a big problem in Chaozhou.  The plan to ease traffic through the area has been in effect for decades now, and there are no easy solutions.  Part of the problem is the combination of public and private land near major roads.  Some private landowners are also  obstructing traffic through the area in other ways, occupying road space beyond their property lines.  A resurvey of the area has already been conducted, but many landowners are adhering to old property boundaries invalidated by more recent survey work.
